Our Head Coach
Our coaches are passionate about teaching and sharing our knowledge and experience with our athletes and each other. We believe that a positive and motivating attitude goes a long way towards developing the rounded, self-motivated, focused athlete/person. We create this positive learning environment where the athlete feels comfortable; where mistakes made are not wrong, but rather seen as learning opportunities.
For the Performance athlete, we do believe that the challenge of being placed into ‘uncomfortable efforts’ is a positive part of the progression needed to achieve results.

Uniquely SCR
Group Training
Group Training sessions take place during the week at our local locations around the Southern Suburbs.
Workshops
These in-depth workshops take place bi-annually and cover technique, equipment, setup, nutrition and race days.
Weekend Warriors
Once a month all SCR Academy athletes are invited to our Weekend Warrior day. This involves a swim, cycle and run at a unique adventurous location. Athletes are encouraged to attempt all 3. These days provide an awesome opportunity to train all disciplines.
Training Peaks
Training Peaks is an online coaching and training platform, which allows us to track important physiological metrics. Enabling us to accurately plan your training and recovery and thereby, measure your progress.
